The short version
From the runway to the marches, this article asks who gets to be seen, whose voice is heard, and how we respect each other’s boundaries.
- Beauty and self-expression can exist alongside consent and personal boundaries.
- Fame doesn’t erase someone’s right to dignity or turn their pain into public property.
- Astrology offers a way to reflect on power, values, and collective change alongside the reported events.
Questions you might have
What connects the runway, Megan, and the marches?
The right to be seen and the right to set boundaries. Silver Lex connects these stories through beauty, fame, peace, consent, and people using their voices. Enjoying your body or being in the spotlight doesn’t make your life—or your boundaries—public property.
Read about beauty and boundariesIs the article saying planets caused these events?
No. Astrology is used here as a symbolic lens for reflecting on bigger messages around us. The news sources establish what was reported; the astrology offers questions about values, power, and community. It cannot establish consent, prove an allegation, or tell us what someone intended.
Read about consent and communityWhy connect Pluto in Aquarius with protests?
In this reflection, Pluto brings questions of power and change, while Aquarius brings attention to communities and collective action. Its previous passage through Aquarius overlapped the French Revolution. Silver Lex uses that historical overlap as a point for reflection, rather than a prediction that history must repeat.
Read about collective voiceWhat does Venus square Pluto mean here?
Venus represents beauty, pleasure, relationships, peace, and values in the article. Pluto brings power and transformation into that conversation. Their square becomes a prompt to ask who defines beauty, who benefits, and whether people have room to set their own boundaries.
Read the Venus–Pluto reflectionWhat does Mercury turning direct have to do with memory?
Mercury turned direct in Cancer on July 12, 2020, the date discussed in the article. Silver Lex reflects on communication, feelings, safety, and how a story may be understood differently as context emerges. This symbolism doesn’t determine whose memory is accurate or replace evidence.

- Retrograde
- A planet appears to move backward through the zodiac as seen from Earth. In the article’s symbolism, Venus retrograde is a prompt to revisit values, relationships, and conversations from the past.
- Square
- An astrological aspect of about 90 degrees between two placements. It is often interpreted as tension or a need for adjustment; here it frames the Venus–Pluto reflection.
- Station direct
- The apparent turning point when a planet shifts from retrograde motion back to forward motion through the zodiac. It describes how motion looks from Earth, rather than the planet physically reversing its orbit.

With astrology, we can understand bigger messages outside of ourselves. We can look at the sky and think about what we value, what we’re standing for, and the conversations happening around us.
That’s what connects these stories for me: the marches, the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, and the way people talk about women in the public eye. Beauty, fame, peace, and boundaries. Who gets to be seen? Who gets heard? And what happens when people decide they won’t stay quiet?
Standing for what you believe.
When I see people marching in different parts of the world, I see people standing for something bigger than themselves. The reasons for each march are different, but there’s a shared question: what are we willing to accept, and where do we draw the line?
In France, students, workers, and other protesters have been taking to the streets over education, living costs, and public services. Recent reporting also describes demonstrations in Belgium, Italy, and Portugal. People are asking to be heard about the conditions they’re living in.
Pluto in Aquarius brings my attention to the collective: communities, movements, and the relationship between people and power. Who gets to make the rules? Who benefits from them? And what happens when the people those rules affect want something different?
The last time Pluto moved through Aquarius, in the late 1700s, its passage overlapped the French Revolution. Now Pluto is in Aquarius again, and France is protesting again. That connection stands out to me. I see a bigger conversation about power, whose needs matter, and people standing up for what they believe.

The Victoria’s Secret show gave us women performing, dressing up, and enjoying being seen. Megan Thee Stallion, Megan Moroney, Tate McRae, and KATSEYE were all part of the musical lineup.
I think there’s something positive in that. A woman can enjoy her beauty, her body, and her moment. She can be sexy and still have boundaries. Being on a runway or a stage doesn’t make her body public property.
Venus was retrograde in Scorpio during the show, square Pluto in Aquarius. In astrology, Venus speaks to beauty, relationships, pleasure, peace, and what we value. Pluto brings power and transformation into the conversation. Together, those symbols give me a way to ask: who defines beauty, who profits from it, and how much freedom do women have to define it for themselves?
Peace matters here, too. What does peace look like when we can speak honestly and have our boundaries respected? That’s the kind of peace I want room for.
Fame doesn’t erase boundaries.
People started talking about Megan and Kylie Jenner again after the show. Some viewers interpreted clips as Kylie giving Megan the cold shoulder. That reaction became part of the conversation online; it isn’t confirmation of an intentional snub.
Seeing their names together also brought people back to 2020. Reporting on Megan’s shooting describes a party at Kylie’s home before the shooting on July 12. Tory Lanez was later convicted and sentenced.
Venus retrograde gives me a way to look at the return of old relationships and public conversations. What are we revisiting, and how are we choosing to talk about it this time?
For me, there’s a boundary here. Can Megan enjoy her performance without every conversation returning to her pain? Being famous doesn’t mean someone owes us every part of their life.
Revisiting a story.
Mercury turned direct in Cancer on July 12, 2020. That stands out to me because Mercury connects with communication, while Cancer connects with memory, feelings, and the need to feel safe.
I can see that symbolism in more than one way: finding a voice for something personal, revisiting how an experience was described, or understanding a story differently as more context becomes available. Sometimes the way a story is heard changes as the conversation continues.
As the past comes back into public discussion, I want us to think about how we listen, what we repeat, and whether we leave room for people to be more than one moment in their lives.
Our voices matter beyond the spotlight.

The Jane Doe case at Cornell and the marches around it bring that conversation beyond celebrity. Reuters reported on protests after a Cornell student filed a lawsuit alleging sexual assault in 2024. The men named in the lawsuit denied wrongdoing.
What I want to keep at the center is consent, safety, and how institutions respond when someone reports harm. People coming together to demand that those concerns be heard is part of the bigger message I see in Pluto in Aquarius.
From a runway to a march, I keep coming back to the same things: the freedom to be seen, the right to set boundaries, and the courage to stand for what you believe.
We can celebrate beauty and ask hard questions about power. We can want peace and still speak up. We can enjoy someone’s art without treating their life as ours to judge.
That’s what I want to explore through astrology: the bigger messages around us, and what they ask us to think about in our own lives.
